Nav Disk error

It started last week. I keep getting and error saying "disk read error. Consult your dealer". First time I took the disk out and cleaned it. It worked fine for about 5 days. Now today it keeps saying the same thing. Cleaning it doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I put the old disk version in and it said "this disk is and old version and is not compatible with the software update of the system". Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem with my 08. I got the new nav disc and mine error twice. I took it to Acura and they replaced the unit in my trunk that my disc went in. If not in warranty about 650.00 to fix.....

IIRC, there was an older thread talking about sending the Nav drive to the manufacture, which is Alpine, and is replaced/repaired for $150. Maybe do a search for it? Don't quote me on it though

Well, I'm crossing my fingers. My dealership is going to try to get American Honda to help cover some of the cost (goodwill).
