Nav conversion?

Right now I just sold my '03 TL and am continuting my search for a 3G TL and I really want nav and am having a really hard time finding one with a good price, so my question to you guys is how much would it be to buy the stock nav and have it installed? Im sure its a couple thousand but I just need to know. Thanks

its prob a lot to find one, easiest would be to go to a junk yard from what i've remembered. of you can be unique and go with a CC, car computer. That way you can modify everything to your liking and don't have to deal with converting your navi to be able to play DVD/ AVI or whatever. But just a thought GL with your hunting.

They have the entire kit on eBay for $1699 obo. It's harder to find the parts individually although it would be cheaper that route I think and if you're lucky you can find parts in a junk yard like pjillta said. Then you have to calculate the install by someone else. There's a DIY here, but it seems very intricate and not for a novice. I thought about doing the conversion, but in hindsight, I wish I just bought a TL with it already installed. For now, it's on my wish list and off of my to do list.

its best to just get the nav from the factory, its better than having to go through the hassle of doing the swap
