My Radio had a freak out!

Just curious if something like this ever happened to anyone else.

I get in my car last thursday(it was really cold) and pull out to go to work and all my XM station presets are on XM 1. I could still change the stations and everything was still functiong so i just thought that was a weird fluke.
So I just put my cd on and listen to that instead, drive for a bit than stop to get coffee. When I get back in and start my car again it's switched itself to AM.

That was it though it didn't happen anymore that day and hasn't happened since. I was just one of those really weird mornings.

hey wass up man! I've experienced something similar, on a couple of occasions when its really really cold, when I start up my car the radio is playing but my navi screen and radio display are not on. When I tried to turn it on nothing happened. Maybe a minute into warming up car navi and radio display(above navi) comes on by itself. I think due to the coldness it may cause a glitch!

Had a related issue soon after purchasing my '07 TLS...got in the car one afternoon and all my presets (FM1/FM2/AM/XM1/XM2) were gone. Very strange.

I reset these channels and haven't had the problem again. I did call the dealership's service department. They said to bring the car in if it occurred again.

Glad to know that I'm not the only one who has experienced the electronics gremlins.

Had the same happen on my 08 TL-S last week. It definitely was very cold. All presets were gone. I reset some of them. When I got back in the car after work, everything was back to normal. Thought it was kinda wierd, but I assumed that maybe my wife used the other keyless remote to unlock the car and those were driver 2 presets that had not been set...although I am not even sure that presets change between drivers?

The radio resets occurs when XM updates itself or the subscription expires or is reactivated.
