My non-Navi navigation
I wanted a TL Navi in the worst way but when it came time to buy I found a great '07 with no nav. I bought the car and I love it but the techy part of me needs navigation.
Here is the answer for me. I can remove my Garmin zumo from my Yamaha FJR1300 in seconds and install it in the Acura in seconds using the Garmin supplied car kit for the zumo. I used it last night for a 200 mile trip and it was outstanding. Not as sexy as the Acura Navigation system but very functional and easy to install and remove. What do you think?

I personally was not looking for the Nav system, but got a good deal on a TL with it. I like the Nav, but it's not high on my list of desirable options for any car, knowing that Garmins, Tom Toms, etc. are a lower-cost, easier to update option. I just need Bluetooth, and some of the portable GPS units incorporate that as well!
Congrats and welcome to AZ!

however, if you are good with your hands and electronics and installs, you can buy the kit from acuratech/hondatech on ebay and the harness and all the stuff is included for 2K.

it is, but it is a PITA, you will have to mod wire harnesses, so you will need to be good with soldering (unless you buy new harnesses = 2=K and removal of the whole interior and dash), and be able to have patience and work well with electronics.

The dealer won't touch it.
The person CSMEANCE mentions will do installs and others on this site have assisted others close to their locations.
As he said, it's not trivial but very doable. I had fun doing my conversion taking my time but also having a 2nd vehicle to drive.

Dealers won't touch it, a few people will help you do it. Here is a write up.
