Music Link for '04 TL?
After I had my 2004 TL serviced today I asked about the Acura Music Link iPod integration and the service rep said that only the 05 and 06 models were supported at this time, but that Acura was working on Music Link for all 3rd generation TLs -- does anyone know more about this? Is there an ETA for Music Link for the 04 TL?
Thanks,
Sean

They said the same thing 6 months ago............who knows. Some have put the music link in their 04 TL's so I assume it works. The dealership won't install it for you though. anyways the blitzsafe, USA spec, and pie options are much better in my book. I personally like the blitzsafe method

Just search for these terms: "Blitzsafe", "USASpec", "PIE*", "iLink", "Harmon" and you'll find many threads on alternatives to the MusicLink.
A majority of the main threads are located in the first 2 pages of this subforum, so just browsing will give you a lot of information as well.

Check out the May 2006 Acura ServiceNews Bulletin that was recently posted by Ron A. Acura talks about Music Link. The article is on page 4.

As for the Blitzsafe right now, wait, they just had a major hick-up with it. They managed to get it to work with the MDX, but in updating the firmware, it caused a conflict with the bluetooth in the TL. So it goes to CD-C but no sound. I am waiting for the "fix" now, as I have already purchased the Blitzsafe one.

Thanks!
Thanks everyone for all of the great information, especially the link to the Acura ServiceNews bulletins (reading through those is quite interesting). I'll definitely check out the Blitzsafe and USA Spec options, but since this is my wife's primary car I doubt she'll agree to non-Acura options.
