Location of 12V accessory wire...

I read some of the other forums regarding hooking up amps etc. What i'm doing is hooking up just an amp for my sub and my amp requires a remote turn on signal to turn on the amp.

On my previous hondas, i always hooked up the remote wire to the RED wire, which is the 12v accessory wire...which i'm sure is no different than an acura. I'm wondering where this wire is? will it be located behind the dash or can i find it under the passenger kick panel where the stockie amp is? i looked but i didn't see any SOLID red wires only...i read a post about hooking it up to the fuse box etc under the driver side but i haven't taken a look yet...just trying to avoid the fusebox...

thanks in advanced for any input you may have.

If you have navi, the yellow and red wire going to the navi unit in the trunk will work fine.

Fuse 32 on driver's kick panel. Tap into the lower blade of the fuse so your wire will be protected by the fuse. You can also use minifuse "add-a-circuit" which was available from autozone. The blue remote wire runs to my trunk where it turns on my sub amp, Dom's TVandNav and a reverse camera.

what about fuse #29? i read people use that one too...i'm just trying to find the best way =) and easiest =)

Sorry, I have no idea what fuse 29 is used for.
I used 32 because it is the remote turn on signal to power up the radio, AC, Nav and Handsfree when the key is turned to ACC 1.

i would HIGHLY recoomened using one of these for tapping in a fuse. Made hooking up the remote turn-on wire for my Basslink a total breeze, works prefectly.

You can get these at local AutoZone's....worth it's weight in Gold!

just saw that this link doesn't work for some reason? just do a search for "add a circuit" or type in part number 071-585 that will work!
