KP Tech Window Roll up module inching up
Hey guys,
I just followed the DIY in the 3g garage to install my KP Window roll up module and it works...Sort of. Everytime I try and get the windows to roll up all it will do is inch up every now and then. It will eventually get rolled up but about 5 minutes later. Does anyone have any ideas? I searched and it seems like no one has problems with theirs

This is not a problem I've ever seen or heard of! Interesting that after 8 years we are still seeing new "issues".
The first thing I would do is disconnect the yellow wire and see if anything changes.
The next thing I would do is verify that the blue wire (door lock actuator) is connected properly by checking the diagnostic LED that is visible through the opening where the wire harness plugs in. Every time you hit the "LOCK" button the LED should flash. When you trigger the module the LED should come on and stay on for ~10 seconds.
If the LED flashes only when you lock the car and at no other time the last thing to check is for there to be +12vdc between the red and black wires of the KPtech module at ALL times (ie make sure it isn't losing ground when the windows are rolling up).
Did you use a volt meter to verify all wiring? How did you make your connections?
If I had to guess I would say your issue is somehow related to the actuator wiring. It seems like the module is constantly seeing pulses on the blue wire making it stop and restart. Once it gets to the top I bet it continues to retrigger which is what led to your dead battery. The only thing I don't know is what you could have connected the blue wire to that would cause it to behave that way. Like I said, this is just a random guess - only a volt meter and some time in the car will determine the actual cause.
