JL 250/1v2 will this be enough power?
I just recently came into a 250/1v2 for cheap and was thinking about using this in a setup that will include a JL 10w3v3. These subs are apparently rated for 500w rms. Question is will this be enough power for this sub? Most manufacturers undercut their ratings, is this true for JL as well? I've read and heard that the 250/1 will usually push 300+ watts? What are your opinions guys?
thanks!

Yea it will be plenty . 250/1's usually put out about 300-340 watts and thats at any ohm load between 1.5-4ohms ! I was considering using one to power my sub but got a killer deal on a memphis m-class 500.1 !

100w will get louder than you think. 250 is plenty. The sub's rms rating doesn't mean a whole lot as far as how loud it will get. If I were worried about not having enough power I would look at it's efficiency rating and even that can be manipulated.

Putting them in a ported box will help a lot with output. A larger than spec sealed box will help with output as well as sound quality.
