I have an 06 TL with MusicLink and am not yet ready to upgrade to USA SPEC because of the skipping issue. Does the latest version of TTS (1.3) work with Itunes 7.02? The download site says 7.01 only.

I have iPod Mini with iTune 7.02.16 working with MusicLink for my 06 TL. I know there is a glitch in MusicLink for this version of iTune. The nature of the bug in my experience seems to be as follows:

When I hook up iPod on my machine, it brings up iTune but not MusicLink.

Then, I would bring up task manager on my machine and manually disable AcuraHelper.exe and AcuraTTS.exe. Evidentlly, these .exe go into twilight zone with iTune 7.02.16.

Then, I would manually fire up Acura TTS and follow the prompt message then on.

With this tedious procedure, I can update TTS as well as iPod. Needless to say, I did not have to do this had I stayed with iTune 6.05. I leaned to live with this bug. Please understand this procedure may or may not work on your machine especially I don't know where in MusicLink lose track of data or code address.

Thanks for your response. I am using the programs on an Apple Macintosh computer. The musiclink and Itunes worked on the computer, but not when I hooked the ipod up to the car. It may be because of the Ipod firmware which is different for my 60 GB video ipod and/or because the ipod is Macintosh formatted. I think I'll try it again though.
