Issues with iSimple PXAMG after few months not working with Ipod Touch

Issues with iSimple PXAMG after few months not working with Ipod Touch
Here are the details
Car: 2004 Acura TL with Navigation
isimple PXAMG with PGHHD1 with .38 Firmware. Updated.
Installed sometime in Feb 2010. Worked fine no issues until now. Stop working this week and was also preventing us from changing the FM preset stations
The issue is the XM button does not work no matter how many times its pressed, so I can't tune to IPod or XM radio when PXAMG is pressed.
If I remove the PXAMG gateway the button works fine and I can tune into the XM radio
Things I tried:
I reboot the IPod, holding home button and top button on iPod touch
I unplugged the Gateway fully both cables and left it out for 10 mins. Tried the FM Preset stations and then began working again.
I removed the DVD for navigation
I turned the car on and off several times
After trying all of above I upgraded iPod touch to 3.1.3, still not working
I was going to try disconnecting the battery but really was wanting to wait to do that last as it will erase all preprogramed items in the car (i.e. Seats, Bluetooth, Radio Settings etc)....
Is there anything else I can try?
