isimple, usa spec, dice and others. Which one?
i have done my search on this and would like to know which one do you guys prefer.
This is what i have read so far.
isimple is good but provide lower volume when ipod is connected. is around -5 compare to regular cd audio. if you are listening to a cd at 15 you'll need to 20 to get the same volume output from isimple.
USA spec hon3 i keep reading that is constantly rebooting our navigation. It doesn't happen often but at least 3 or 4 times per week.
Dice. i read that is not stable, the idea of the device is good but is giving problem of taking to long to load, crash in which u have to turn your system on and off.
would like to know what are you guys using since i'm playing on getting one.

I'm in the same boat as you and looking for an adapter for the Iphone4. I've read that a lot of people are having problems with the isimple but most of them are just annoyed that they have to pay extra to get the adapter in order for the iphone4 to work with it. I don't have a problem with that since isimple can't really predict what apple is going to do next with their OS.

usa spec hon3 pa-15 already comparable with iphone 4. no extra cables needed and does everything isimple does. But would like more reply from people since i read about the rebooting problem.

By installing one of these adapters, can you still use your AUX port? Also, you can still choose the songs you want to play FROM your Ipod/Iphone right? Is the sound quality better than the regular AUX 3.5mm jack?

I called isimple and they said the ISHD571 is the latest version and you can get it from them or another vendor. From the email I received " The ISHD571 is the part number for the latest hardware and firmware module. discountcarstereo.com, autotoys.com, icarkits.com are among a few of our online vendors." I saw it at autotoys for under $120. I am looking to add iPod 4 and an additional AUX,s o this should do the trick.

I have the iSimple that was made to work with the iPhone 4. Mine doesn't always connect when I plug it in. Most of the time when I plug it in, it starts playing where it left off (which is what I like). Other times, it connects, but doesn't play anything.
I've found if I plug it in once I open the iPod, and start playing what I want to listen to, it works every time. Anyone else experiencing this?
Other than that, I love it. I've had it for a few months and still never listened to music through it. I've tested music and it sounds fine though the stock setup. I haven't noticed a huge volume loss, but maybe that's because pod casts always have fluctuating volumes.
Here is a thread with my install pics if you haven't seen it yet: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/new-isimple-connection-text-but-no-sound-791738/
