i just purchased an 07 TL and i want my first mod to be the isimple. ive read thru post after post about installation, problems, firmware updates, y cables etc and im still a bit confused. what do I need? heres my car infor...07 TL (no navi) and has xm radio. thanks for helping this noob!

 

I forgot to add that I have an iphone 4 running ios5 if that makes any difference/helps. thanks again.

 

The iSimple you need is the ISIM73. You can find it on Amazon for an avg of about 50ish bucks. It will have all the hardware you need for the non-navi. I just put one on my 05 non-navi install was a PITA but sound quality is great.

freeman04 is right buy the ISIM73 and it will have everything you need. easy way to install is either pull the side panel by driver side leg area and lower knee panel. you can use a metal hanger or machinist scribe to pull plug the XM plug on the back side of your radio connect that Y cable that comes with your kit hardest thing is either running the cables to where you want to place the cable ie ( the arm rest). that is where i have mine but dont like it because i always forget my IPHONE. everything works 5.0 with that kit the you have full control from your steering wheel. calls will come in as you are listening to music no bleed over as long as you answer with the car not the phone. you should be ok if you need pix hit me up i have some i think. i been on here 10 months and feel like noob everyday these guys make it sounds like rocket science.
