Can anyone help me out. Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 4 with the new IOS. The connectivity to my 05 TL stopped working. Apple don't have any remedies for it and the dealer wants me to just change the system in the vehicle. But the HF Link works fine in the can. My phone and my car wont find each other. How can I fix this?

What does 'works fine in the can' mean? Did you delete all phones from the HFL and try to re-pair? When I had my iPhone 4, I had some pairing/ calling issues until I removed my prior phone from the HFL (an old Motorola), and all has been well since.

Meant in the car. Thanx. And yes I deleted all other phones for the list.

The HFL couldn't find my iphone 4 either until I updated to the latest firmware and then I tried it again and it just connected fine and found each other.

the firmware on what? The iPhone or the car? and how do I do that?

At first I couldn't connect because I my iphone 4 wasn't updated. Then I just plugged my iphone into my laptop and installed the latest update (took about an hour?) then i went outside and tried it again and it worked. hope that helps.
