Thumbs up iLink Valor Question

Ok..so Ive been looking over the boards over the last couple months trying to determine which IPOD integratin avenue I wanted to go down. The final straw was when I dished out $80 for a damn Monster Itrip thing which sucks. I have a video IPOD and want to integrate it to the TL.

I sent an email to discountcarestereo.com and they basically told me that if I didnt mind spending some money, that I should go for the iLink Valor, PNVI Dual Video Input and the Blitzsafe Hon/Aux DMX V.2x.

Can any comment on this..is it a good setup? They also sent me this link of the setup that some guy had and it looks pretty sweet.

Thanks

Search for a thread by vandido626. He has the Valor iLink installed with Dom's TVandNav2Go and PIE X3.

The iLink looks very promising.. Does anyone know of a way you could make the remote work over RF instead of infared? I'm afraid if I mount the receiver eye under the stearing wheel nobody else in the car will be able to use the remote besides the driver. I'd rather not put it in either of the center console compartments under the navi cause it just seems tacky. Any ideas?
