I Pod Wireless FM Transmitter
Saw this at OnLineCarStereo http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14343 and thought you guys with I Pods might have an interest in it. Supposedly it's fairly new. Made by Monster.

I have had one of these for close to a month (since I picked up my TL actually), and I love it. I also have an iTrip, but this thing beats the iTrip hands down quality-wise.
I can't begin to describe how much of a pain it is to switch radio stations on the iTrip while driving -- you have to play an audio track and then pause it at the right time. Just driving across highway 20 from Chicago to Des Moines, I had to change stations a half-dozen times because of weak interference.
With the iCarPlay, switching stations is a breeze - you simply push the button and it goes to the next station in its preset list. I haven't yet driven out of Iowa, but I've found that this device is powerful enough to work over top of the same weak interference that the iTrip would fight with.
Also, the iCarPlay doesn't use the iPod's volume adjustment dial, which is probably best. I hated having to find the right volume before sound gets garbled on the iTrip. With the iCarPlay, I plug it in and it works. Another nice feature is that when the iCarPlay loses power, it pauses your iPod.
I'd highly recommend the iCarPlay if you, like me, don't want to do the wired FM modulation thing. I normally don't recommend Monster products (especially their outrageously priced cables), but this product is a great value.

Thanks. I don't want it so much for the TL (I mostly listen to XM) but for rental cars when traveling. Sounds like iTrip has problems and spending more is worth it.
