i (headache) Simple installation on a 2007 TL Type S??

Can this be done? I was reading (using the search button) and found out that it can be but needs a special harness to be attached to the XM module in the trunk instead of behind the nav screen. But when I looked around the forum there isnt any DIY or any information on it at all. I am most likely going to buy it from Best buy or Amazon but the first Best Buy I went to told me it only works on non navi tl's which obviously is bogus so if anyone knows how to install it or is in NJ and can help me figure it out that be great. I am just really confused on such a simple "mod" (no pun intended). Thanks ahead of time.....any information about this is very welcomed.

Haven't installed mine yet. But I plan on taking the console apart to hide wires well and do a nice install not a quick one.

Install isn't that bad. Taking the interior apart is annoying, but easy if you take your time. There's a video how to on youtube somewhere. The wiring part is easy too. I just used zip ties and put the module behind the top part of the radio assembly. Make sure to look for it online, paying the $180 best buy charges is stupid. I found mine for $60 shipped. I'm in Jersey if you need any help. My car is a non-navi and it works perfectly.

This is the youtube video, just follow the steps, pretty easy.

this wont work for him since the install is different for the 04-06 then it is for the 07+. He's right the unit needs to be installed in the trunk rather then behind the head unit.
