Question I have a long tech question you you guys...

Now before I get started, I'd only like responses that are very knowledgeable about car tech. I think this thread could be a good sticky for current and others constantly buying 2nd hand 3rd gens. I'd like to know how much newer tech can be added to ours cars w/o tearing out the car. I know there are streaming BT options. With that we'd be able to stream music from the apps of your choice. Dropping in speakers to sharpen the music as it's supposed to be heard is an easy mod as well. I'd love to hear you ideas for the regular persons listening/tech. I'm done with major stereo mods as I trade my cars too quickly (every 2-3yrs). Maybe you guys know of new tech about to drop for the aftermarket. Thank you in advance for opining.

Unfortunately, this being the internet, you have absolutely no control over who responds. Just by asking that, you run the risk of people responding just for the sake of doing it lol.

The features and options in the 3G TL are just now filtering down to Kia, Ford, and the like. A quick search in the same section you posted (audio, electronics) will give you the answers you need. Even on the first page there are threads about Bluetooth, swapping in a tablet, speakers, backup camera, interior LED's, and the list goes on. Members are always creating threads about new technology that they want to put in their car and the feasibility of it.

Swapping a tablet is exactly what I wouldn't do. That requires a tear down. My car is navi so back up cam I have interior LED's I've done. Im literally talking tech. Speakers isn't tech really. I don't think I explained myself correctly.

what are your goals?

to answer your question, you will need a goal or and end place.

unfortunately, all the cool things that are available, are a full tear down and install kinda thing...
