I believe my navigation system just screwed up.

Any of you folks experienced this problem? If so how did you get it fixed. On the bottom of our navigation screen there is a light grey bar from left to right that displays which street/freeway were on etc. and when there is no street/freeway name to be displayed that bar would disapear BEFORE but now when there is no street/freeway info. that light grey bar does NOT go away. It happens in auto, day and night mode. System is 2 months old and works excellent but I want that annoying blank grey bar to go away like it was desinged to!!!

Mine goes away. I would take out the navi disk and re-insert it and if that doesn't fix it I would have the dealer check it out.
