hey zepplin77, have jptl04 PM me. I think I know what your HFL problem may be and it definitely has to do with the mix of 04 and 06 hardware...

I just recently retrofitted this as well...

Yup!
But it's no longer relevant to my car because i have 07/08 hardware now and it works fine.
You can fix the HFL issue by using an updated orange disc. The software will recognize mixed hardware.

As for a wiring scheme ... you'll have to contact jptl04 or someone else because i had nothing to do with the custom harness.

If you had to buy an Acura all over again would you wait for a good Navi or would you buy non-Navi and do all the work again?

The reason I'm asking is because I found a pristine condition non-Navi and if the guy drops the price just a little bit I'd have to consider whether to get it and do all this work. Just wondering if it's worth it or if I should just be patient and wait it out for a nice one with Navi.

man, I want to tackle this badly. It sure does seem like a complex project, and pricey one, but well worth it.

I have a 2007 acura TL, I picked up a wrecked 2006. I needed it for a few other parts.
It has the navigation system, I figured might as well swap it in..

does someone have the schematic for the wiring harness that needs to be built to avoid removing the entire harness out of the car.

Thank you
