How to upgrade the Audio in my '05?

Hey everybody,

I know I'm being lazy at the moment, but there are so many threads in the Audio section...

Wondering how I can upgrade the sound system in my '05?

One of the few things I don't like about our (base model) cars is the "meh" stock audio. The sub adds a little something, but the speakers are completely inadequate.

I want to get full, loud sound from my car (doesn't need to thump). Would I need a new deck to accomplish this? Can I just get better speakers/sub or would I need an amp?

I'm NOT interested in putting a sub. box in my trunk. Need to save room for my golf clubs.

Any advice...thank you.

Thats what i have and i am very happy with it:
Tweeters: INFINITY REFERENCE 1031T
Center speaker: Kicker KS350
Door speakers (i used only midbass drivers): INFINITY 6.5" KAPPA 60.9CS
Rear speakers: JBL P662 2-Way 6.5
Subwoofer: Image dynamics iD8D4v.3 8"subwoofer

Everything is hooked up on stock amp!!!! Sounds much louder and sql way better.
