Lol really. You saw where he made the headrests but didn't see the 15 pictures of them getting cut up haha. It's ok, since your a noob...

Niebur3- One thing that keep amazes me besides all your work is how much the CF di-noc cleans up the tan/black interior. I found a black TL back when I was looking and didn't get it because it had this interior and the ugly wood trim. I really like the look now though! Looks different and very classy/sporty. Nice job

Also, those kick panels are to die for!! I WANT NOW

Great install! Must be nice to have talent, tools and time.
One word of advice to those considering the kick-panel pods... alert your passengers and any shops you get your car serviced at going forward. I had Q-forms in my old Accord and had to do some touch-up due to wandering feet...but the imaging was great. Enjoy!

So the MS-8 is worthless since you bypassed it? and do you have a grand total for the install? parts only?

thanks

THis is very similar to what I am trying to achieve out of my trunk.

What did you use to get the countour/edges of the trunk for the trim pieces?

Me and Jerry had this conversation a while back. I think we both agreed about the overly processed sound. It was almost like it lacked dynamics after going to the MS8. I was afraid to say anything because I thought it was just my untrained ear but when Jerry said the same thing I knew the processor was to blame.

I'm going to stick with it for a few more months. It's getting better and better over time. Lowering the center channel high pass helped a lot. Resetting to factory default each time I do a tune helps tremendously but adds a few minutes to the setup time. I'm extremely happy with the setup right now but I may bypass the MS8 soon as a point of reference just to make sure my standards haven't changed over time.

I think the biggest thing to remember with the MS8 is that while it does a ton of work for you, it still requires tweaking to get the best sound.

Going to post pictures of my kickpanels from Jerry in a couple days. Very nice work. I didn't realize how much space these dome mids take up.

Pretty sad that this thread is dead, but I guess once it was done being installed, not much to document. I'd subscribe to any thread that Jerry starts documenting anything he does.

This could include flossing or making a strawberry shake. His attention to detail makes it riveting.

Give in to the sickness... We ended up with the same front stage somehow and I'm glad I listened to him. IMO, the e650 and 430 are the best sounding midbass and midrange out there. The 102 tweeter is great as well but I've been waiting on Jerry to try a 110 in the TL so I can copy him lol. For anyone interested, the 430 was klippel tested a while back and one of my 650 midbasses are being tested right now, the results should be interesting.

To ANIL:

Actually I'm agreeing with you and you think I'm not understanding what you're saying! Where exactly did I say something to make you think I'm biased?

I said what I said which was...
yada yada I don't want to hear it and know how awesome it is because I'll want it.

you respond: yeah it was perfection and no rattles and amazing

and I responded...yeah, exactly why I don't want to hear it since you're confirming what I assume would happen.

You guys are all proving my point...you hear it and you'll end up spending SICK money on the system!

Feel free to hump away....lol!!!! When you heard it, it had 3 amps, only 2 playing. Now all 3 amps will be operational (sounds like a stars wars reference). Anyway, When you heard it, 1060 watts. Soon it will be 2540 watts! All ARC SE!!!

4th and final surgery! Hopefully I will be pain free after !
