HFL Pairing LG Vu (2008 TL)

Hi,
Has anyone tried pairing a LG Vu with the HFL? I just got a at&t

LG Vu (model # CU 915/CU920 I think) and have been trying to pair it with the HFL but the car cannot see the phone. I really want to get it to work!
Also, has anyone had any issues with iPhone 3GS?
