HFL not beeping
 

just bought a 2005 tl and I am trying to setup my HFL but when I press the talk button it doesnt beep. When I touch the navi talk button it beeps but doesnt understand any command. what am I doing wrong?

Nothing. It is very common for these units to go out. If you have some kind of warranty after the recent purchase, then see what they can do.

You can test it by going to HFL in the MID. If it just says "booting up" when you jack around with it, then it is bad.

Thanks that is what I was afraid of. The car is as is so no warranty. I just ordered the part and will let you know how it goes when I get it.
