HFL just replaced, system does talk or except any command. HELP!!

So I'll try to keep the back story short but having some of the information may help diagnose the problem. So I dropped 07 TL Type S (with nav) off at a body shop to have they fix hail damage on the roof. When I dropped it off, the HFL system was working normally, never had a problem with it. When I received the car back, the system has completed stopped working, buttons on the steering wheel, auto connect to my saved phone, nothing. Skipping the yelling and blaming that went on. I took the car to a local dealership so they could diagnose what went wrong (the shops idea and they were going to pay for it). Again skipping the yelling and blaming the dealership said they fixed it by plugging in a connector. Upon picking the car up from the dealership, the system still didn't work. After some more yelling and blaming, I had finally reached my limit of dealing with stupid people and decided to fix it on my own. So I bought new brand in (OEM) module because the last thing the dealership said was now module was bad and not working. Afternoon, I connected the new HFL module. When I press the pair/command button on the steering wheel the system beeps normally but does not say anything nor does it acknowledge any command. After a pressing the button the system times out and beeps a few seconds later. Does anyone have any ideas of whats going on or suggests on what to test from here. My thoughts are that microphone cable that sits beside the HFL module is disconnected somewhere behind the headliner. Also I have confirmed with 2 different dealerships that the HFL module I bought is the correct one for my VIN number.

Let me know what you guys think. If I have left out any info just let me know. I can also upload pics if needed.

So I'm not sure how to correct the Title but "does" should be "doesn't"

I have a thought-- play the radio/audio/CD and check to see if all the speakers are working, esp. the center dash speaker.
You can adjust the fade and balance controls to isolate speakers.

IIRC, the HFL voice comes from the center speaker.

Will - That's a good thought, I will try it this afternoon. I didn't realize the HFL voice comes from only the center speaker.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the HFL system?
