HFL Initiating call from Iphone

Just upgraded from my 00 TL with 172k to an 06 TL with Nav. I have an Iphone4 and the HFL works fine if I answer a call or dial through the HFL (speaking out the numbers or using a stored name). However, when I dial out from the Iphone, the iphone wants to default to the iphone speaker and not through the HFL. Does anyone know how to change this? In other words, when I am connected through the car, I would like for it to default to use the HFL rather than the iphone.

Thanks,
Randy

I have your same issue. Even if i dial from the iphone, then select the HandsFree Link on my phone, it just doesn't transfer to the TL. You can dial the number on your iPhone, press the HFL button on the car, say transfer, and the call should be going threw your HFL. I usually dial from voice command anyways, so I haven't looked into this issue... I have also lost the Caller ID feature on my MID, which bothers me more.

I think it takes a while for it to transfer on its own. For instance, when i make a call while dialing from my iphone4, the screen says "handsfree link" but no sound comes from my car speakers. once someone picks up the phone, thats when it transfers to your cars HFL. Or so it seems.
