HFL CircuitBoard - How many times should you bake the board to see if it will work?

'05 TL Navi Auto SSM - HFL went out at 152K. Read through all of the AZ threads on the topic. Tried baking the circuit board at 385 degrees for 9 minutes. Let cool and reinstalled. Nothing. Nada. Still no link (no phone icon on the upper dash). Will accept verbal commands to change radio/CD/EM. Is this a sign that it is time to buy the module new and start? Should I try to bake it again? Any other thoughts on how to get it working without the capital investment? Thanks Group!!

You can bake it as many times as you want, worst, it doesn't work.

But the bake trick is to soften the solder and make the parts properly connected again. If the parts are broken, no amount of baking the board will fix it.

Yes, give it another try. Some members got the HFL board working on the second round.

If it doesn't work then, it's time to get another HFL/Bluetooth adapter or disconnect the existing one to prevent a drain on the battery.

Damned if the second round of baking didn't do the trick. I love this forum! Thanks to all who dealt with this issue before me and came up with a cheap and creative solution. Really appreciative.
