My Blackberry 8700 Bluetooth connection worked fine with my 2007 Acura TL HandsFreeLink for a year and a half, and only just recently started to constantly lose connection constantly such that I cannot use it at all. It constantly cycles through trying to establish connection and returning " Handsfree connection to HandsFreeLink TM lost ".

I have tried re-pairing, deleting, adding, pairing, etc, only to arrive back at the same behavior.

Any ideas what happened this year?

I'm having the same problems with my LG-8700 and my 2004 TL Navi... recently has become unstable...

Not that this helps the OP at all, but I also have a LG VX-8700 that worked fine for a few weeks (after I bought the car in March) and now I can not get it to pair no matter what I try. I've given up and may just get a new phone this summer.

Happened to me once.... deleted the phone device in the car HFL and deleted the HFL on my phone... was then able to start over and pair the system... hope this helps.

I probably should have posted a while back that I got it to work a short time after that. I forget what I did, probably everything mentioned here. I don't recall having to enter all the phone numbers back in for voice command control, so I guess it wasn't as extreme as a total delete. I think I just went through sync a few times and it started working again. Could have been my phone. I still have that phone - just recently the escape key and the mic stopped working (now all my calls go bluetooth from the car).
