I cleaned my disk and for the first time it did not have to load, but the horrible loud static is still there when the navi voice guidance starts speaking

Never mind, it started doing the same thing again, man ever since they started making honda's and acura's in the US they have been tons of problems, there will never be a honda like the B series era

And compared to our cars, the B/D era Hondas were about 2 steps above a horse and buggy. My 91 CRX (D-16) has 2 computers, if you count the radio. Two. The TL probably has 50. A recent article in a tech mag said that the average new car has more lines of code than the F22 Raptor fighter plane, and the TL doesn't even come with missiles. With all that electronic wizardry (and you wanted it all, or you'd have gotten something less complicated) there's bound to be stuff that goes haywire. It's the price you pay for wanting more than basic transportation.
Really, we're approaching an era in cars where leasing is going to start making more sense than buying. Lease the thing, drive it until the bumper to bumper warranty is 10k miles from expiring, and unload it before some blinking electronic widget under the floor can stop blinking and cost you 5 grand.
