Help! Installed Hacked Navi Screen, Now frozen black screen!
Help! I just installed the new BIN into my car and now my whole system is frozen. No radio, no Navi, just a frozen black screen. I have tried to press MAP+MENU+CANCEL but nothing comes up!
I started the install just like all the guides said, loaded the BIN within the MAP+MENU+CANCEL, version menu, the screen said downloading software, then went to a black screen and that is where it is still is.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it or revert back to the original??

Yep, tried disconnecting the battery and everything reseted including the time, but no luck. Radio/CD Player, Handsfreelink, Navi still dead. Also I have tried to reinsert the DVD, but still same black screen.
At least my Heating/Cooling system still works.

One more thing, the screen flickers intermittently and there is a very thin white line in the middle of the screen that flashes as well. It seems the system is in a loop trying to start up.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it!!

Ok! I fixed it, I found this:
So if the car is disconnected from the batt for more than 2 min, then it erases everything from the ROM of the NAVI. Then it redownloads it from the DVD.
Whew! Thanks for everyone that tried to help!
Navi bootstrap (ver 3.xx)
Cold bootstrap (battery was disconnected for ~2 minutes):
Navi bootloader accesses DVD and loads BN2HHMLD.BIN image. This image is a loader application. It reads vehicle type from nave EEPROM, initiates some data, flashes navi software (the bin for the vehicle) into navi ROM (or, most likely, just loads it to RAM), and boots it.

So you've tried using the Original Acura Disc after a battery disconnect/re-connect?
Have you checked the fuses? It's odd that the Radio, Navi & HFL are all dead.
EDIT: Glad you got it fixed. You can ignore that ( ^^ ) .
