I want to install devices to listen to music from my iphone/ipod, and if possible also watch movies from my iphone/ipod. And want to play DVD's. I have an 05 TL w/navi. Can anyone help out with what I need to make this happen. I'm very new to this and have no clue what I'm doing. Thanks.

I think u need both Nav2Go for the Video and iSimple for the Audio.

You will also need a ipod av composite cable (dock connector to rca a/v connections powered by usb).

video would go to the nav2go and audio to the isimple.

however if you just want to listen to audio and have the features of isimple (song text display on navi and steering wheel/center console controls) then you need to use the dock connector cable that is supplied with the kit.

I just did this exactly. Worth it I love it. search the forum. I posted on my build and did it based on other posts from this site. Once u have the TVnavtogo and Isimple installed all u really need is a really long composite video cord, a coupler, and the apple video composite cord. Works with my iPad and iPhone.
