Help!! Bass Rumbling ??
So i installed my stereo today, the same one i had installed on my 06. Rockford Fosgate 900.1 & Rockford P3 12"..
i follow all the DIY's on this forum, and the install went flawless! works like a charm.... so i go for a test ride...
as soon as my engine speed gets between 1000 - 1250 RPM the bass starts RUMBLINGGGGG.. even with the radio off (amp still on)... its not typical engine noise like whining... its the sub just rumbling like a CRAZZZYY deep bass note. once i breach over 1250 RPM, it stops....
what could it be??? Ground wire should be pretty firmly planted in the trunk... the only thing i can think is that under the hood, the 12V lead wire is actually touching the battery's groud wire.... somebody help me please !! ive only got an hour of sunlight left
