I have a 2005 Navi.
The audio system has been working fine. Today it's wacked. Any suggestions?
Symptoms even after turning the car off and back on a couple times:
- No sound from any speaker
- The "Audio" button brings up the sound system settings. All the touch panel buttons work. I can change station, mode, etc.
- Steering wheel controls all function
- The following buttons have no impact: Load, disk/tape, AM/FM, XM and Display Mode.
- Eject did eject one CD.
- The volume knob changes the level (on the display, no sound) but the push does not do on/off. Similarly the right knob changed channels but push does not activate "sound".
- The bottom row channel buttons 1-6 do nothing.
After the above I pulled the radio and any other fuses I thought might be relevant. All are ok. But when I turned the car back on I could not get any audio display.
I'm stumped. And of course my warranty just wore out a few K miles ago.

do an entire vehicle reset..
make sure that you have your nav/radio codes...
pull positive and negative terminals off of the battery...and touch the cables together for 15 secs....allow terminals to sit off of the battery for 30 seconds...re-attach to battery...re-enter your previously mentioned statement...hope it works...
