Headrest Monitors To Battery?

Installing two headrest monitors and want to run power straight from the battery. Will it damage the monitors in any way? Or is the best route to use the fuse box?

No reason not to use the fuse box. It's switched, it's all fused for you. Just stick in a couple of add-a-circuits... check out my webpage, I did it all in there for my headrest LCDs.
