Have XM After Battery Disconnect
So I had my 2004 TL in the shop this last week, and as part of the repair it was necessary for the battery to be disconnected. Out of curiosity, I turned on XM and lo and behold, I have a select number of XM channels (not just channel 0 and 1 as I had before). It's not all of them though, just a select number. After some searching, it appears that some model vehicles with factory-installed XM include a complimentary 3-month trial. I'm assuming that since the battery was reconnected, my radio thinks that it's being powered up for the first time and initiates the 3-month trial? Or does anyone else have another explanation?
