Hardwiring electronics

Hello everyone! I have a 2004 Acura TL which I love. Recently, I purchased a Beltronics 995 and a Tom Tom One 3rd Edition and would like to hardwire them to my fuse box. Does anyone know where I could find instructions for removing the side door lining so I can run wires to it?

Thanks!

If you are talking about the rubber lining, than all you have to do is pull on it.

you can remove the A-piller by first gently prying (with broad flathead screwdriver) on the SIDE AIRBAG plastic pin (it's a square with SRS written on it), then you can pop off the a-pillar to run your power to the headliner if that is where you're putting the radar detector.

You don't even need to remove the rubber lining as you can push any wires into the gap between the rubber lining and the side of the dash -- you'll see when you try, the wires won't go anywhere and they're invisible when you've done it right.

You can then run your power wires to the fusebox/ignition/accessory wiring, etc.
