Hello fellow TL owners,

Lately I've noticed that my GPS shows my vehicle rougly 50 to 100 meters away from a street corner when I'm actually at the street corner.

I changed my tired from 18'' summer to 16'' winter about 2 weeks ago but I don't know if this is what caused this oddity because I had'nt noticed this problem previous to changing my tires.

Does anyone have a fix for this type of problem or some kind of an explanation ?

of course changing the tires did that, either calibrate it yourself or goto the dealer

i didn;'t think a 16" rim would fix on a TL

Those are the rims and tires I got with the car. Yokohama Guardex 600 16'' tires.

Does anyone know what teh setting are to calibrate the tires for sizes ranging from 16'' to 18'' ?

If those are the rims that came with the car and you didnt change the calibration when you put the 18's on (causing it to be off) then shouldnt putting the rims back on make it correct??

No no no... Those rims came with the car as the winter rims and tires when I bought it. Why would they sell me the car with 16'' rims on instread of the STOCK 17''???

I wondered but so many dealers have "installed options" and perhaps maybe you got some small yet pimp chrome rims with your TL as a package....thanks for clearing that up....I DID wonder....
