so i was looking for the firewall hole that leads into the engine bay to run a switch (which i never found) and i came across a lil black box that was blinking under my dash....i looked at it and it looked definately something aftermarket not oem from the dealer..i looked up it up.... GPS Tracker with Internal Antennas... can anyone tell me if they have this? im the scond owner to this car maybe a previous mod?? i have a non navi edition so it cant be for the navi...kinda weird was gonna unplug it but i dont know what the hell it is...nothing about it in the manual...i need input a.s.a.p

It sounds like a GPS tracker.. seems like someone wanted to monitor where the car was being driven or where it was at any given time. They would have to login to the internet and I guess could enter a transponder number and be able to track their car. Similar to Lo Jack or to find out if your wife is banging some other dude.. haha.
I would take that shit out since the previous owner is probably tracking you now! LoL

can u get any images of it? Even though they didnt tell me where the lojack in my car was i found it under my back seat (drivers side) when installing my sound system. i could tell u if it looks the same

run the id name and number thru an internet search -
and if you register with acura you can see if it was a corporate lease or private owner...get an answer why its still there

did you finance your car? If so, it might be from the company that finances since the website had payment notification and such other things that kept to the term of asset, just like any company would
