I have a non nav - tl also - I am looking for the parts and then I am going to find an installer - if you don't mind me asking where did you find the parts from - if you could point me in the right direction - I am also in miami -

I am going to start looking for people that would be willing to install the system - I have a friend that I am going to call - I could hook you up with him - he is damn good at installing systems etc... - I have to give him a call - drop me a line - with your email and I will send you his contact info if he is up to the task.

Nits

navi

Did you check with your local Acura dealer? My dealer wanted $2500 for the install. Check out Dan...k posts on his navi install. He had a shop in Atlanta do it for cheap.

Good Luck, My dealer wouldn't even touch it. I have all the parts as well, just need a wire harness made and an installer... and I've been looking for almost a year. My only hope is to make an appointment with Dan...K's installer in georgia and make the drive from NYC. The only good thing about that is I have a friend who lives down that way.

If anyone knows an installer in the Northeast that could do this for me, let me know!

navi

The only way my dealer would install the factory navi if I purchased the factory harnesses. 3 in all. You are right they will not touch it if you are thinking of having a non factory harness installed. I know dan...k is happy with his fac. nav install and he saved a ton of money having his installer make a harness. I was thinking of making the drive to Georga but from Denver it would not have been cost effective. While the installer has things torn apart, you may want to spend the additional bucks to have the dvd player installed to play thru the nav screen. Good luck.

Alright here, I have an 06 acura TL and I made the decision to not get the navi, my dealership wont sell me ANY PRODUCTS, and they wont sell me the navigation system alone. NOW GUYS, i have been hearing from many that you can go to your local automotive car audio store and they will be able to install it.

Definately, worth it to do the DOM NAV to DVD at the same time if you are interested in that. Otherwise you are looking at another 8 hours ripping up the same parts. Your installer might even throw it in for free since it wouldn't be much additional work.
