a few questions about Isimple ISIM71

Has anyone had this installed at bestbuy? For $180 it says basic install is included..at least on the website.

Will it play newer models of ipods/iphones? If not, is there a different cable I will need and will it cost more money?

Will future ipod models be compatible with this isimple?

finally, I just want to confirm that I can use all the functions of the actual ipod to select songs, etc, instead of having to use the stereo buttons/steering wheel controls?

thanks guys!

I'm going to get an iSimple installed tomorrow. The BB guy told me the $179.99 includes installation. I'm not sure why the website recommends professional install, unless that includes a dock installation or something. The specs on the iSimple tell you what it plays. It's also firmware updatable, so hopefully it'll always work with new stuff. As for the last question, there are DIP switches on the unit that allow you different modes of operation. Check out the iSimple website.

thanks quake for the info. Let me know how you like the unit. I'm very curious. And if the installation was nicely done by BB. Hopefully the firmware upgrade works with newer ipods/iphones coming out. that would suck if it didn't
