Fast way to mass convert .MP3s to .wav
I have several playlists I'd like to convert from .MP3 to .wav file for the purpose of burning into a CD using Discwelder Bronze (which, in my opinion, should really be called "Discwelder Iron Ore" or something). Is there a way to do this?
I'm thinking there isn't a way to convert the playlist, but is there at least a program to do a batch of .MP3s? Thanks in advance... |
Well, I found a couple of products which do that:
Alive, supports playlists This interface doesn't seem to be as good, but also seems to do the bare minimum |
Just a note about the Alive product mentioned above, it will only convert 60 percent of the file until you license it. I bought the license, but unfortunately I'm still waiting for them to send me the code to activate the product.

More info: The Alive product seems to be MUCH faster than the other one. It converted 78 songs in under five minutes on a AMD Athlon 3200. Of course, the "big disk" in my system which was both the source and target disk is a 2x200G SATA striped raid disk.

I use WinAmp and it works great. :) no need for plugins either.

I use dBPowerAmp. Works great, right from Windows Explorer or in a search window.

MusicMatch. Just go to File/Convert and use the left/right window panes. Quick, free, painless.
