Remember, the rear corner bulbs do not turn on with the parking switch. Only with the signal (or hazard) switch. Therefore they only receive a postive feed for power to flash and a ground. I ran the wire in this order for both sides:

*from the pink/black (on the opposite side of the harness away from mirror) wire
*through the door and door jam
*along the sides under the interior plastic trim pieces
*around the rear seat
*behind the trunk liner
*to the rear signal postive wire.

It's a PITA, but it gets the job done. It's takes about 1.5 hrs on each side.

^ Hmmm that sounds like a PITA! Without actually taking everything apart, it seems like the fronts are easier to tap into. I will entertain both... thanks.

^ Yeah I know. I think imageshack removed the link. There are four screws total to remove. The missing pics just show the two behind pull handle cover and the one on the bumper stopper by the pillar side of the door.

^^^Nevermind...I got it working.

Since the pink/black wire is essentially connected to the molex connector at the door...I taped this signal and ran it to the back. Its on the white connector and the wire is white with short gray line.

Thanks all!

Hey man...thanks for your help. The fuse blew on me because the wire did get stripped and was touching the chasis right at the white molex connector in the door. I guess with the pressure of that connector and by me trying to jam it through the side caused that wire to strip. After you told me that I can tap at the mulex connector, I did not even need the wire going through...just tapped from that connector. I did have to solder that wire that I broke tough....

Once again thanks for your help.

First mod on the car and now looking for whats next

Hey...anyone know where can I buy the bumper stop with screw? I seem to have lost it for the passenger side. I dont know its real purpose since the door closes good and all but it must be there for some reason.

Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, but if you have a buddy that's pretty good with 12 volt (car) electronics, it's pretty simple. Or you could probably convince someone at a car electronics install business (such as stereo and speaker installs). Maybe Best Buy can give you helping hand, but it's up to their installers.
Good luck.

Unfortunately, the price of Honda/Acura parts has gone up since I bought mine 2 years ago. This is the ebay Acura dealer I purchased from. Here's the link to the ones I got...only at a slightly higher price.

Wow, I just realized that the Anthracite Metallic color I need for my 2006 Acura TL does not come in the 2007/2008 mirrors with turnsignals... Guess I will have to get them painted? Or does Carbon Bronze Pearl match the AM?

You will definately need to get them paited A.M., as cbp is more of a brown color and does not match A.M.

I think PMM is the closes color to AM, but you can still tell the difference. Your best bet is to get them painted.

Just guys & gals finished this mod, didn't need to run the wires to the trunk to tap in just find the positive wire in the split loom running towards the rear less hassle same success.

I plan on swapping my 08's mirrors for the 2011 RL's power folding mirrors if they fit with little adjustments. That would be a sweet asset when parallel parking.

Does anyone know if there are any significant changes to replacing the passenger side mirror? I read a different post that says that for the passenger side all you need to do is remove the little triangular cover (without having to remove the entire door panel). Is this accurate?

Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
