DVD A vs DTS 5.1 audio....
Hey gang!!
I'm kinda taking the "easy" way out on this question and would really appreciate some comments.
I tried to make my way around the forum, looking for the answer and then crapped out and figured it may be easier to just ask.
I have a 2004 TL with Navi and have enjoyed many DVD audio discs on board. Fleetwood Mac Rumours KICKS BUTT in DVD audio format as an example!!
My question is whether or not the deck will play DTS 5.1 audio discs?!
Thanks so much for the input, I'm looking forward to the answer and your input!

Keep Right Except to Pass
I have a 2004 with Navi and the DTS discs do indeed play. Some people have occasionally reported problems with some of them, so it may be a hit-or-miss type of thing. The Eagles disc "darcar" mentions plays quite well, although note that if you have the Navi giving you directions while that disc is playing you may want to consider turning off the voice-guidance. Otherwise you'll lose the vocals on the disc every time the Navi speaks.
Other thing to note is that some DTS reissues of material from the 1970s (Wings' Venus and Mars comes to mind) were remixed from the old quadraphonic masters and are not optimal. The Wings DTS disc is particularly irritating because they rearranged the track order on the quadraphonic release and the DTS reissue maintains that incorrect track order. But if you don't have the original stereo LP you might not notice that.
