DVD players for navtool or nav2go set up

For my base TL w/ nav I set up a navtool, isimple, power acoustik DVD player in the armrest, headrest monitors, a small 10" sub that is flushed to the drivers side of the trunk (fosgate), and a fosgate amp. Only issue I have is that I am not so impressed of the DVD player, I purchased it just seeing the capacity of 32gb memory card capability. Most units are only 8gb. I know Many acuraziners have the Myron Davis set up but now those systems are outdated as it does not come with the sdhc inputs connections. What other units are you guys using for DVD players?

we stopped doing dvd players and started doing tablet retrofits.

store all your movies and music on a tablet, not to mention the jump in screen resolution and everything else that comes with a tablet retrofit.

Thanks for the prompt response. Yea I have seen some crazy builds here and do understand the difference in resolution quality of adding a tablet. But to be honest, just too much work I want done on my TL. Although the sub and mp3 option was for my enjoyment, the dvd and headrest set up was done for my kids. Everything is complete and I would like to just swap the DVD player with one that has similar capabilities but better quality.

^i think you're on your own.
as every one is realizing how easy it is to retrofit a tablet, why should any one go backwards and do a prehistoric dvd install?

as you've found out, the myron is discontinued and or outdated.
I dont believe anyone is actively looking for a dvd player like you are and will probably have to take a gamble on several dvd players

The soundstream is very similar to the power acoutik. I am waiting for a used Myron Davis unit to be shipped. The music I will just tap in from Ipod with the isimple. I really enjoyed the 32gb sdhc card with the Power Acoustik model. O well. Thanks.
