WOW old thread.
Ok. Do you have a Mac? I use a program called Burn and you select your songs from your Hard Drive and it converts them if they are not already in a useable DVD-A format. I use only FLAC now though so I get the same quality (no compression) as the recording studio hears. If you do a little research, I'm sure there is a program for PC just like this. You might even check out Burn to see if they have a PC version

Agreed. It transformed the average stock system into this amazing system on par with a good aftermarket system. I loved DVD-A. They were good enough that if they were still being made I would never have ditched the rear speakers or added a processor that disables true DVD-A. I've got to find the original demo disk the car came with. I ended up with two of them.

I would love to be able to use that format. The better your system gets the more you learn to hate low quality recordings. I've found on good recordings, the MS8 paints this perfect sound stage where you can pick out every instrument and where the singer is standing. The sound comes from out in front of the windshield and you can't pick out any sound coming from the speakers. With crappy recordings, you get some oddball sounds and it just kills the stage along with the SQ. The Dyns seem to pick up every detail including the bad SQ o most disks.
