DVD-A.... Amazing...
A Single Layer DVD done in DVD-A can only hold ~ 2 standard albums/CD's worth of material; about 4GB.
A Dual Layer about 4 Albums/CD's or ~8.3GB.
Try burning to ISO, then burn the ISO image to the DVD using Nero or Roxio or something similar.
Others have had success changing from DVD-R to DVD+R (or vise-versa, I don't recall), but I've never had a problem with using either one (But I don't use Solo either, so whether that matters or not, I don't know).

Oops! Sorry, I assumed you were working in 6-Channels and WAV format.
In that case each song is 3 times bigger (iirc) than a Stereo WAV and the Stereo WAV is much larger than a Stereo MP3. IOW - 700 MB CD = ~2.1 GB (plus formatting overhead) on DVD-A in 6-Channel from WAV.
So for 6-Channel from WAV format you get ~2 standard CD/Albums per single layer DVD-A or ~4 standard CD/Albums per Dual Layer DVD-A.

If you want an OUTSTANDING DVD-A, track down the recording of the 1812 Overture by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra conducted by Erich Kunzel. It was released on the Telarc label. Some of the passages are a bit quiet for play in the car, especially if you're going highway speeds, but the cannons in particular are astonishing. I have copies of that recording on both DVD-A and SACD and I played one of them for my parents on my Marantz universal player when they came over for dinner once. My mother ducked involuntarily when one of the cannons fired right behind where she was sitting!
Amazon.com have it, but they're down to two copies. MusicDirect.com and AcousticSounds.com usually carry it as well.
I don't normally like classical music much, but this one is a jaw-dropper.
