Do you set your Navi to "north-up" or "track-up"?

Saw a discussion of this issue on misc.transport.road relating to aftermarket sat-navs and I thought it was something interesting to ask here. "North-up" refers to the default Navi setting in which the top of the map is always north, so the map does not re-orient when you change directions. "Track-up" refers to the optional setting where your car is always heading towards the top of the map as displayed on the screen, such that it re-orients when you change directions.

I've always used "north-up" because it's more like reading a conventional map, and I've used conventional maps for far longer than I've had the Navi. I expect to see north at the top when I read a map and I find no benefit to the "track-up" orientation because it doesn't help me visualize the road ahead. (But the order given in the poll is based solely on alphabetical order.)

Track-up: it's easier for me to see which direction to take with the Navi tracking the direction the car is traveling.
Otherwise, I get disoriented, esp. when driving South.

Track up. Watching the navi the other way on the screen just looks weird.

North up of course. I like to see the car turn on the map, not the map turn around the car.
