Dialing a number that is not one of my 50 presets...
How do i dial out a number that i have stored in my cell phone w/ the hands free setup? To date i have been scanning my cell for the number that i want to call, then verbally saying the actual phone number, then dialing it. Is there a way to hit send on my cell phone then have the hands free just pick up the call that i am making so i don't have to use my phone, or actually say the entire number?
TIA..
TIA..

Yes- 2 ways.
1) Call w/phone, press the HFL button and say "transfer"-- that will transfer the call from your phone to the HFL, and vice-versa if you wish to continue talking on the phone without the car's HFL (i.e. for privacy or when leaving the car).
2) Dial number and hang up as soon as number starts dialing on phone. Then press the HFL and say "redial" when you are ready to make the call. The HFL will call your phone's last-dialed number if you say "redial."
I assume you don't have a Sony Ericsson, for which the '07+ TL can import the phonebook, and you decided not to manually enter each number into the TL's HFL memory.
Also, welcome to AZ!

OR
You can transfer contacts (one at a time) from your phone to the HFL phone book. When you do this, to associate a voice "tag" with each number. It's a bit of a hassle, so I only transferred my most frequently called numbers.
Now when you want to call that number you push the HFL TALK button and say CALL "HOME" for the home voice tag or CALL "BEARCAT" for the bearcat voice tag.
BTW - If you have a Home number, a Work number and a Cell number for an single individual, the transfer contact will transfer ALL the numbers and then you can assign a voice tag for each one. Makes it a little easier than one-by-one.

Maybe a little off topic, but if you have NAVI, you can enter all the numbers into the navi's address book. Time consuming, but once you are done, you can select by name in the address book and hit the 'CALL' button on the touchscreen to dial.
