Connecting an iPod Touch to the car (Equipment Required)
Good Morning,
I just purchased a 2008 Acura TL and I want to connect my Apple iPod Touch to the car to the jack provided and was wondering what kind of cable etc i need to accomplish this. The manuals that comes with the car don't really say a lot about it.
Thanks Ron

3.5mm male to male phone jack. 3.5mm is standard for most mp3 players and all iPods. Radio shack has them for a few dollars. Congrats on the new purchase, you will love it.

Thanks all for the info. We had a 2003 Acura TL looked like new with only 45,000 miles on it but somebody decided to re-arrange the body by ramming into the rear while we were stopped at a traffic light and totaled it s that is why we now have the 2008. Love both cars. The 2003 never had anything that broke just the routine maintenance, it was really a dependable car and we're hoping this one will be too.

A better way than the AUX port, if you want steering wheel control would be to get an adapter like this: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/
