Code for Stereo

Any ideas as to where I can get the code to turn my stereo (Non Navi) back on. I just bought the car at auction and the manual that came with it is clearly for a different TL.

I would be thrilled if I had the car to match this manual since it has everything: salemans card, original sticker, code for the stereo. My buddy who got me into the wholesale dealer auction said its common for the manuals to get stolen all day long at the auction. Once 1 car doesn't have one, its just a domino effect of them getting stolem from other same model cars b/c they are worth less to retail w/ no manual.

I called the Acura dealership by me assuming I could get it with proof of ownership and the Vin #, but the rather rude guy said I would have to bring it in and its not covered by the factory warranty.
Anyone have any ideas where to get this code from w/ out bringing it in?

That level of security is a plus for all of us! Just bring it into the dealer since you probably got the car at a good discount at auction anyway.

Thanks Snake, but I'm not trying to give my savings right back to the dealer I avoided in the first place.
So anyone have any ideas or DIY?

Thanks

Please perform a search.

edit: Adding some more helpful links

There are many threads on the radio code:
There are a few locations in the car to look for the code. Otherwise, time to bring it to the dealer. Read through those threads (many more can be found with a search).

Well if you cant find a white code or serial number sticker anywhere such as in the glove box, door jambs, trunk. The dealer will charge you an hour labor which is a around $100 and they will have to pull your radio and get the serial number off the radio and then look it up on ISIS. If you can find a serial number somewhere i can try to retrieve the radio code for you.

Thank you very much for the offer to help.
I couldn't find the code located anywhere in the car as some other threads suggested.
I contacted the original Selling dealer and with some proof of ownership faxed to them, they should be contacting me by phone w/ the code that hopefully is easy to enter and unlock.

Thanks again.
