Car CD Player Cassette Tape Adapter

Ok, so here is the deal. I have an iPod that I am wanting to use in my 04 TL. So I had an old Car CD Player Cassette Tape Adapter laying around the house. I put it in and it make this terrible noise almost like it's trying to rewind the tape. Any way it plays the audio from the iPod for a few min and then spits the tape out. Anyone can recommend a Car CD Player Cassette Tape Adapter that they know works?

Much appreciated.

Thanks

i really dont think there is much of a selection out there. i have seen them at stores like Best Buy and they usually only have 1 to choose from. yours is probably just old and worn out. at the moment that is what i am using, until i install my USA Spec, and i notice some crap sounds occasionally and usually only when it is cold, but the stereo never spits it out. i would suggest also cleaning the heads on the tape player, that may help a little.

or go out and buy a direct connect to the stereo. a little pricey but WAY better sound and it will also charge it for you.
